Gainesville, Florida – North Florida Regional Medical Center recently named Eric Lawson as its new Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Lawson will oversee all hospital operations, planning and strategy development.
A veteran of HCA, Lawson served as the Chief Financial Officer as well as the Ethics and Compliance Officer at North Florida Regional from 2005-2012. Most recently, he served as the Division Chief Financial Officer for HCA TriStar Health in Brentwood, Tenn., overseeing a Division of 14 hospitals, 10 ambulatory surgery centers and 386 service providers.
In addition to his strong leadership background, Eric obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration, from Tennessee Technological University. “I am very honored to rejoin the North Florida Regional team,” said Lawson. “This hospital has a legacy of delivering exceptional care, and I look forward to helping carry that legacy into the future.”
