Because Express ER is a department of North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC), the billing is handled the same way as if you were treated at the hospital. Please check with your insurance provider to verify your co-pay and charges for care provided at a Type B ER. Keep in mind that you will receive separate billing from the physician that treated you.
Should you need a higher level of care than what Express ER can provide, you will be automatically in our system; therefore, no additional forms would need to be obtained regarding your registration. You would then be transferred to NFRMC.
We accept most insurance policies.
